Terms and Conditions

1 – Reservations

All communications with our team regarding trips to Madagascar must be sent by email. After your confirmation, we will send you an information form to complete, along with your invoice. This document must be filled in, signed, and returned with the deposit payment to validate your booking.

2 – Confirmation

Your trip will only be confirmed after receipt of a deposit of 30% of your land invoice and 100% of domestic flights if these are arranged by MandimbySoa Travel Madagascar, as well as the duly completed form. The balance must be paid no later than 40 days before your arrival.

Please note that we do not handle international flights. All bank or transaction fees related to payment are the responsibility of the client. For bookings made less than 45 days before departure, full payment of the invoice is required.

3 – Program changes

When confirming your stay, we will also provide the sales conditions of certain service providers deemed essential. In case of cancellation or modification of your trip, their conditions prevail before ours.

4 – Capacity – Insurance – Health

Each program specifies the distances and the level of physical fitness required. Clients must ensure they are physically fit for the chosen itinerary. A prior medical consultation is recommended. MandimbySoa Travel Madagascar declines all responsibility in case of physical insufficiency or health problems during the trip.

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after leaving Madagascar and contain 5 blank pages. Clients must take out insurance before arrival covering repatriation, medical expenses, and emergency assistance abroad. Your insurance details (policy number, provider, contact details) must be provided in the confirmation form.

5 – Price revision

In case of exceptional circumstances beyond our control (increase in fuel prices, taxes, etc.), a price adjustment may apply. A revised invoice will be sent to you with detailed justification.

6 – Payment methods

A deposit of 30% of the land amount is required to confirm the booking. Domestic flights invoiced by MandimbySoa Travel Madagascar must be paid in full upon confirmation. Payments can be made via Western Union, bank transfer, or Mvola.

7 – Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be communicated by email. The following conditions apply:

• More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund (excluding transaction fees).
• From 59 to 30 days before arrival: 60% refund (subject to providers’ conditions).
• From 29 to 19 days before arrival: 40% refund (subject to providers’ conditions).
• From 18 to 10 days before arrival: 10% refund (subject to providers’ conditions).
• Less than 10 days before arrival: no refund.

These conditions apply to individual, group, or partial cancellations. Possible changes depend on the conditions of our providers.

8 – Program modifications by clients

a) Before arrival

Any modification after confirmation (dates, hotels, itinerary, etc.) will result in additional fees. A revised invoice will be issued and must be settled within the indicated deadlines.

b) During the tour

Any modification during the tour is at the client’s expense, and the agency must be immediately informed. Payment can be made either directly to providers or via the agency before leaving the country.

c) Trip interruption

If clients interrupt their trip, the agency must be informed immediately by email. The full trip remains due, and unused services will not be refunded.

9 – Program modifications by the agency

MandimbySoa Travel Madagascar reserves the right to modify the confirmed program if safety, weather, or political conditions require it (e.g., cyclones, road closures, etc.). In this case, clients will be immediately informed and alternatives will be proposed. The final decision rests with the clients.

10 – International flights

MandimbySoa Travel Madagascar does not handle international flight bookings.

11 – Domestic flights

Clients may book their domestic flights directly via the Tsaradia website, according to the available classes and fares. The airline’s conditions apply. If MandimbySoa Travel Madagascar books flights on behalf of the client, an additional fee of €25 per journey will be charged.

The agency is not responsible for changes or cancellations of domestic and international flights. In case of changes, clients will be immediately informed, and any resulting costs will remain their responsibility.
